Living in Atlanta and having the Center for Puppetry Arts is absolutely amazing! I would rather see a live performance any day to a motion picture. Both girls said they would love to see this show again! I will admit, seeing this every year would be a really fun tradition. Little Sister (age almost 5) really enjoyed seeing the puppeteers after the show. Tip: The line to the show is admitted into the theater 25 minutes prior to the show starting.īig Sister (age 6) loved “the girl reindeer” and when the reindeer jumped through the snow. Before the show the lady next to mean leaned over and whispered “Is this just the movie or will there be puppets? My friend said it was just the movie.” I assured her that we were at the Center for PUPPETry arts and that the show would be performed by puppets. I love how cushy the seats are at the Center for Puppetry Arts. This performance is a direct parallel to the original movie. Our family went to see Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer at the Center for Puppetry Arts last weekend and I was very impressed. Important: This is a puppet show! You do not see humans during the show. The Center is honored to work again with Character Arts LLC to bring back the licensed puppet stage production of this yuletide classic. The puppet stage comes alive with timeless characters including Rudolph, Santa, Hermey the elf, Yukon Cornelius, and the Abominable Snow Monster. This show is an adaptation of the classic Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer. If you haven’t see this classic then be sure to add it to your calendar this year! The puppeteering geniuses at The Center of Puppetry Arts are letting us experience the timeless tale of Rudolph and his misfit friends, live and on stage. Photo Credit Clay Walker Center for Puppetry Arts My family recently had the opportunity of getting our hearts ready for the approaching holiday season by seeing the Center for Puppetry Arts bring this classic to life through puppets! One thing that I just could not stop admiring was how character like the puppets were! Guess what? They were even made at the Center! Every time I would gaze upon the stage, I seriously was in awe of the skills of the puppet builders and puppeteers.
